Sonia is a proven leader in nutrition, food science and communications. At DSM Nutritional Products, she is responsible for activities in the food & beverage, dietary supplement, medical nutrition and pharma segments. Sonia has served on many executive boards and held corporate advocacy roles working with ILSI, GMA, IFIC and a founding member of the Whole Grain Private-Public-Partnership.
In prior positions, she worked in product develop at Mars, nutrition strategy and communications at Mondelez, and has developed and launched international brands. In addition to industry experience, Sonia was an Associate Professor at the College of Saint Elizabeth where she taught and researched in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Throughout her career, Sonia has worked to elevate cross-functional team conversations and has been a champion for improving public health as well as advancing corporate and social responsibility.
